An Anchored Constant

Life’s gravitational pull will place a great burden on patience, challenged moments have long since elapsed, memories etched, the clock key has spun many of hours and days to pass, your open eyes realize time shall not stand as you watch a flow of cascading water trace its path on a weathered stone like a racing hour glass. Surrounded by its laws of life this stone remains an anchored constant, worn and experienced during its travel through time. The spinning clock brings about new signs of wear and realization that time is arriving with a new moment to create in spite of reminiscing over yesterdays etchings.
