One Night Out – Rock for Humanity – Feb. 24th & 25th 2010

In light of the project I have been working on with A Fragile Voice, I am hoping to reach my Toronto followers to go have a great evening for an awesome cause. The event is supporting Free the Children with people camping out for an evening, creating awareness as well as raise funds for local and international initiatives regarding homelessness and poverty followed by a benefit concert at the Horseshoe Tavern. This is an amazing way to pay attention to those on the streets here in Toronto and all over the world.

Hope you all get there!
Derek

Free the Children has chosen February 25, 2010 as its annual awareness day to launch its “One Night Out” campaign and is urging its supporters to put themselves in the shoes of the homeless. In support of Free the Children and local homeless initiatives, Rock For Humanity founders and volunteers across Canada will be camping out for 24 hours to raise awareness and accept donations. In Toronto, the camp-out will start at 8pm on February 24th and end at 8pm on February 25th. After this, a huge wrap up party and benefit concert will take place at the Horseshoe Tavern. Again, all proceeds will go towards Free the Children and local homeless initiatives.
